It was good to see the series on display at the Lakehouse Gallery(Takapuna) ‘In Patterns’ exhibition . Seeing the series in display mode with correct lighting opened up new ideas. The whale diving through the bowl has now been sold to the James Wallace Trust.
I was surprised how easily the new concepts come forward when taking this gallery based view. Some obvious ideas come to the fore and are now being worked in drawings.
